Ministries

PBC has various opportunities to serve others through ministry. We serve others as we minister according to our giftedness which God has given to all His followers. We offer the Ministry Class periodically to help each of us discover our giftedness and S.H.A.P.E. (Spiritual gift, Heart or true passion, Abilities, Personality, Experiences). Check the calendar of events or contact the church office for the next class. You can also take the class online. If you don't have a password, contact the church office to get one.

Below is a list of our current ministries. If you are interested in any of them, contact the church office for more information.

Love God

A-Team: The A-Team carries in all of our equipment and assists in the set-up and take-down of our Sunday morning services, focusing on audio equipment and children/youth rooms. This team gives support to several other teams for set-up and take-down.

Audio/Visual Team: The AV Team serves the congregation by providing technical support to the speakers and praise team. The goal of this team is to maintain the crowd's engagement with the events of the service. The A/V team also records the weekly messages.

Communications Team: The Communications Team relays relevant information about PBC to members and community residents via the newsletter and websites.

Hospitality Team: The Hospitality Team creates a warm and loving environment on Sunday mornings so that guests and members feel welcomed and appreciated.

Praise Team: The Praise Team uses music and song to create an atmosphere of worship and to prepare our hearts to receive the teaching of God's Word.

Prayer Team: The Prayer Team prays specifically for the church and its leaders, the vision, and for events.

Youth Leaders: The Youth Leaders lead our youth in special programs each Sunday to help them learn how to love God, love people, and serve others. They attend to the needs of children, to show them God's love, and to enable their parents to be ministered to in the morning service.

Love People

Small Group Leaders: Small Group Leaders facilitate small groups on a regular, on-going basis. Small groups are designed for the building of relationships in a small group setting.

Social Team: The Social Team organizes all-church social events as an opportunity to spend time with other believers and to celebrate special occasions and victories. This also provides a great opportunity for PBC attenders to introduce friends and family to PBC.

Serve Others

Missions Team: The Missions Team plans mission trips for the church, is the liaison with PBC-supported missionaries, and looks for local and distant mission opportunities for the church.

Outreach Team: The Outreach Team introduces new people to PBC and promotes the name of PBC and our Lord Jesus Christ in our community through various marketing methods. This may include anything from helping our congregation invite their friends to PBC events and services, to marketing and advertising, to community service.
